Experience with visa-fee.com

I feel like it’s a dream for most of us who are in India to work in US at least once in our life time. May be because we just want to see that country or their culture or their lifestyle or why people say it’s nice.

I had a similar dream and luckily it worked out for me. I was so happy when I got my US visa. I was excited about going to US and see that country . And the day came when I took Continental Airlines from Delhi to San Francisco United States. That’s the longest flight duration that I have been in any flight WOW.. it was really a long one. Finally I landed in US with my luggage and colleague of mine came to pick me up in a nice big car. Slowly I started getting familiar with the country and how the things work out here.

The time as usual ran very quick Day after day, Week after Week and Years after Year I came to my 3 years completion of H1B visa. It was the time of extension. My company applied for the extension and it went on smoothly. I got my approval for another three years.

Then came the day when I planned to visit India with all cool stuff for my loved ones from US :) . But during this visit I had to get my visa stamped in US Embassy. And for that I need to go through the US Visa Appointment Interview. For scheduling a US Visa Interview I am supposed to deposit MRV fees and the most horrible part is that the fees is to deposited in designated HDFC branches only in India. Going to India without scheduling the Visa interview might not be a wise decision. So I tried for evaluating the options of getting the HDFC receipt before  really landing in India. I didn’t not want to bother my parents to run and get me the HDFC receipt, they have already been doing so much since my childhood. Thought of few friends who could do that for me but everyone seems to be too much busy or may be I was not good in keeping up the relationship with them while I was in US. Finally googled to see if anyone can help me out with getting the receipt and I am glad I found this link www.visa-fee.com.

I ordered online to get the HDFC receipt through visa-fee.com. I provided them the shipping information in US. Uploaded the scanned copy of my passport document and made the payment. As per the site it was mentioned that they will be able to send me the scanned copy of the HDFC receipt in 3-5 business days which was OK for me as I was not in that big rush. But to my surprise the day I ordered I got the scanned copy of my HDFC receipt the very next day. I was not expecting it to be that quick. I got the physical copy of the receipt in another 3-4 days time. I scheduled my appointment after two days of getting my receipt.

Now I knew when I have to be in India for sure. I booked my tickets to Home. Everything appeared to be changed I was going after 2 years but the people are same with no formalities and same love and affection.

So here I am back in US again and writing this article thinking it might help someone if they are trying to figure out how they will get their HDFC receipts.

Thanks for listening up my experience and do share yours .

Good bye for now !!
